Meet Your Hosts
Bodrum Leisure Club is a Danish family business run by mother and son, Kristine and Thomas. Combined, we have lived in Turkey for 19 years – 5 years in Istanbul and most recently, 14 years in Bodrum.
Bodrum Leisure Club was born out of our shared love for Turkey and especially Bodrum. With our experience and strong connections, we can offer others the opportunity to fall in love with the beautiful Gulets (wooden yachts) and the many unique and exclusive experiences of the Turkish Riviera – just as we have.
Being two generations provides the ideal dynamic to match the right experiences for our guests, whether you’re on a sailing holiday or a retreat. Our goal is to deliver an unparalleled holiday experience, where you can be fully present in the moment with those you care about, without being pressured by schedules and decision-making. We take care of that, both in advance and along the way.
Thomas Thiim Harder
I have my finger on the pulse and keep a close eye on what’s happening in Bodrum. I know the best beach clubs, nightclubs, and restaurants, and I enjoy finding the perfect event and experience tailored to the guests on board the yachts we rent out.
As the younger part of Bodrum Leisure Club, I can’t help but bring new perspectives and ways of tackling tasks – including how we can constantly optimise the overall package we offer you as our customer.
Kristine Overgaard Nielsen
I have a keen interest in how to live a healthier life in the best and most enjoyable way possible. That’s why I designed our Balance Club Retreats, where you can holistically – including drinks! – boost your health, both physically and mentally.
I appreciate the informal and personal format and have chosen the same cosy boutique hotel for the retreat as I stay at when I’m in Bodrum. I’ve brought along my favourite instructors and coaches from Denmark, for whom I fully vouch. Wellness and beauty treatments are provided by the hotel’s spa department, which is rooted in Turkey’s ancient and proud traditions in this field.
